Where did the morning go?

I logged into our Department email this morning and just about passed out because we had like 50 emails from the weekend. I went to my first staff meeting this morning, which was very interesting. I learned a little bit more about what people do in my office. I came back from the staff meeting and saw the HUGE stack of DHL mail that people send because we need supporting documentation for their applications. I guess I really shouldn't be suprised about being busy. We are coming up on the April 1st deadline for fall and summer. That means this week and part of next week will be crazy! Oh, well job security! I am up to the challenge.

This afternoon will be filled with intial data entry for 12 applications (could take 10-20 minutes for each), admitting and denying applicants, answering emails and telephone inquiries. It should be pretty busy and hopefully I will get everything done!
