Calming Down

These past four days in Lawrence, KS has been very exciting. As you know we won the NCAA Championship Game! Go Hawks! After we won the final four, we went down to Mass to join in on the celebration. It was just like it was in 2003 with fireworks, music, bands, and lots of crimson and blue! I watched the Championship games with friends that lived near Mass St. During the game we were pacing back and forth thinking "I think that we may lose". That's the thing about basketball in one minute things can completely change and that is exactly what happend. I just couldn't believe it. After we won I went back to Mas St and met Craig there went he got off from work. This time the celebration was in full force. I will have to post some pictures soon. Police officers from all over the area were ready for the night festivities as well. I don't think that I've heard so many sirens in my life! Anyway, it was a great to be a part of everything, but I am glad all that is over so that we can focus on other things that are going on around Lawrence. Craig and I plan to scrapbook the event and put it in a large frame in our computer room.
