Date Night!

Dates are a rare thing that happens for Craig and I because we are so busy. Last night Craig was able to get off work early because they scheduled way too many drivers at Pizza Hut. He was bummed that he didn't make much money, but happy that he could have some time to relax with me. We choose to go out to eat so we went to Culvers. Since we have both stopped eating at places like McDonalds, Burger King, Wendys, etc.. when we wanted to have a little fast food it tasted that much better! The butterburger at Culvers was out of sight! It was amazing!

Next we went to the Hookah House on Mass St. It's a Lebanese tradition of smoking flavored tobacco. I am not a cigar or cigarette smoker, but I really enjoyed the Hookah. Craig and I sat there for two hours talking about ourselves, plans for the future etc.. I am very thankful for that time because we haven't spent a Saturday night with each other for months!

After the Hookah House, we went to La Prima Tazza. For those of you who don't know Craig and I met there about four years ago. We like going back to the place we met because it reminds us of how far we have come in the relationship and how far we have yet to go. Craig orders an iced Alexander, which is cold pressed coffee with chocholate and creme de cocoa. I ordered my favorite green chai tea with soy milk! Hmmm! As were orderd I thought about how we used to get coffee drinks all the time two years ago. We were wasting so much money back then! Ahh! No when we get coffee it's truly a treat. My drink was awesome because we had a good barrista! I was surprised that the coffeehouse was dead because La Prima Tazza has some great coffee and it's usually full when I go there.

Okay so our date night is coming to an end. We were walking to the car when we saw it..Yokohama a sushi place! We also saw that they were still open. Please keep in mind that we ate well over 4 hours ago and we were hungry! Craig and I have never been there so I really wanted to try it out. Craig ordered philly rolls. I ordered spicey tuna rolls (really spicey and yummy). I also ordered yellowtail rolls for us to share, which were equally as great! We did not get service for a while (it was busy), which was okay because were were loving the music and the decor. Yokohama used to be a sports bar and an upscale resturant. To see this space go through so many changes is amazing.

Okay so it was about 1am when we finally got home. We had a lovely night with each other. I look forward to other nights like this, which probably won't happen for another few months!
