I think that the Conference message can be summed up in the words of my sister in Christ, Timika:
We all know that if you can't help your family, or clean up after yourself or others, or be courteous to strangers, faithful to your job, or refuse to be selfish.....or be faithful over such small things...you can not become ruler over much.
We should care about what God cares about and we can not have excellence if we lack love. We should not let junk steal our joy...the devil does not want our stuff he wants our joy!
We should do at home what we do to look good outside the home.
We should STOP trying to impress others and truly live for God no matter what.
We should stop making excuses and come up higher, grow up, and trust God to work in us.
We should not compromise.
We should encourage ourselves to do what is right in the eyes of God.
