I had my second interview with Big Brothers/Big Sisters and it went very well like the first one. We have the home visit on Monday and our references need to be checked, then Craig and I can start mentoring!
I almost forgot that today is Spooky's 4th birthday! You may ask who is Spooky? He is a chubby, small boned cat we adopted along with two others from the Lawrence Humane Society Spring 2006. Spooky is the playful one of the three. He likes to chase laser lights, play with feathers and sit in high places.
Spooky likes his litter box to be spotless so he tells me when it's not by peeing on my side of the bed! He likes women alot..he will seek out the affection of a female over that of a male. I guess that makes him more my cat, then Craig's... He's a morning cat for sure. He lets us know that he is hungry by pounding on our door and jiggling the door knob. Spooky also talks to us! He says things like Heeeeeey meaning hey or Laaaaaame meaning lame. We are working on his vocabulary to incorporate more useful words likes Yes and No!
All in all Spooky is a delight. He definitely makes things more interesting in our household! Happy Birthday Spooky!!
