We need Obama!

I have a strong feeling that Obama may have a very good chance at becoming the next President of the United States. I hope that this feeling turns out to be true! I can't shake this other feeling that McCain/Palin may play even dirtier and win the election with more smear campaigning or worse...(I shudder to think what that might be)


I do understand why people would be inclined to vote for McCain:

• People want things to stay the same.
• They want privatised health care for all.
• They want the rich to get richer and poor get poorer.
• They think that trickle down economics will somehow work.
• People who support McCain want more deregulation (look where it got us in the stock market).
• People who support McCain don't want America to be the land of opportunity for all, but the land of opportunity for a few.

Sick and tired of how this country is being run. We need a change. We need someone who can get this country back on track. We need someone who didn't divorce his first wife for a prettier one. We need someone who doesn't own 13 cars and 8 houses. We need someone who is in good health. We need someone who isn't a maverick. We need someone who has a competent vice President. Our country needs Barack Obama!
