I was stuck six times today for various tests. I have small, deep veins so getting blood drawn is not fun. When I got my wisdom teeth out in 1999 they couldn't find a vein in my arm for the IV so they had to use a vein in my hand. In 2006, I went through three nurses before they could get the IV so that I could have my appendix out! I can tell you right now that I definitely was not a happy camper that night.
Today it was not too bad, I had an awesome nurse, but it still hurt. I am still feeling a bit weak from fasting earlier today as well...
In the next few days I hope to find out if I am diabetic, pregnant or have a thyroid problem..
