Office Depot, Circuit City, GM, Hostess..what do all these companies have in common? Give up? Well, they are all tanking in this current economy. We should all thank Reagan and the Bush Administration for this!
This financial crisis has prompted Craig and I to live even more cheaply (is that possible?!). We now look for coupons and specials on everything. For instance, we don't want to give up going out to eat two times a week so we have found a few places that have good deals and quality food. Goodcents and Subway have five dollar foot longs. We each get a half of the sandwich, chips, and a large drink to share that makes it 7-8 dollars compared to the 11-13 dollars it could have been for two of us. On Mondays there are specials at Set up Jacks (1/2 hamburgers) and Jersey Mikes (five dollar foot longs, which are normally 8.45) in Lawrence.
When I have free time I scour the Internet and local paper for coupons to see if there is a coupon for anything that we would normal buy or use. So far it's been pretty decent.
I am still looking for ways that we can save on our cell phone bill. Any suggestions?
