April 9th thoughts, updates and other things

Craig had his doctor's visit yesterday and I think that it went pretty well. The doctor thought it might be an aggressive form of the flu or something like that. He was able to get some blood tests done and get a prescription for some much needed migraine medicine. I am very happy with the turn out and hope that if Craig has any more health issues that he can go back to this doctor. All I have to say is thank you Lord. Thank you for allowing Craig's doctor to help him.

As far as other things going on in our lives right now. I am officially 15 weeks and I day into my first pregnancy! The only thing that is new is back pain. I definitely feel that alot of my weight has shifted to the front where my belly is. It's actually kind of amazing because my "love handles" have all but disappeared! I haven't gained more than five pounds since we found out I was pregnant! I think that it's pretty good considering I am already overweight and I have had cravings for some high calorie foods!

Wow, things are starting to get pretty busy for us both. Craig is in his last couple of weeks before the semester is over. I am busy at work admitting students to the university. We are both using our free time to spend time with our pets, watch movies, spend time with friends, taking walks, and reading! These days my thoughts are constantly filled to dreams, ideas, prayers for our future child. We talk about names, nursery decorations, clothing, how we will raise the child and so much more. I know that when the day comes for this child to be born our lives will be transformed! I can not wait! I feel so blessed!

This weekend Craig and I will be spending time together, going to church for the Easter Sunday Services, then heading to Topeka to see family. I love Easter...not just for the chance to see family and eat really great food, but it's in celebration of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I love Easter because it renews my faith in the power and awesomeness of God.
