Saturday, while Sophia was calmed down (she's teething) I went through our things and made two piles. One pile was DONATE and the other pile was SELL BACK. I did this in March and again in April. It is amazing how we collect so much stuff. The things that I have given away, donated, sold back or even thrown away probably would take up a whole room in our house! Our house isn't very large so two adults, a baby, a dog and three cats take up space.
Well, I made 19 bucks at Half Priced book with books that I haven't even thought about for three or more years. I went by the Salvation Army on Sunday, but it was closed. I hope to make it by there today to drop off more items.
I'll tell you what. When you did simplify it allows you to appreciate the things that you have. I am a little frustrated because this was supposed to take two weeks and it's three months later. I still have to clean out four closets. I may have a chance to do that over Memorial weekend.
