I go to the obgyn on Thursday to see if I will need to have my fibroid removed before I have more children. When I was preggers with Sophia I went to the dr several times to check the size and location of the fibroid. It actually grew bigger until I reached 6 months, then it stopped growing. Sophia was fine the entire time, but I did experience some extreme pain as the fibroid grew because it put pressure on my pelvic bone.
I am definitely hoping for no surgery at all. I must say that if I do have to have surgery I am not too worried. I recovered nicely after having my appendix taken out in 2006 and a c-section in 2009. I will keep you posted.
