That's what I did this past weekend. Craig and I went for a long walk on campus Friday night. I had mapped out a route and wanted to see if it was walkable in less than an hour...it was if you were walking at a fast pace. I definitely got a work out.
Saturday Craig took Sophia to meet his friend from Chicago for the afternoon. I opted to take advantage of the quiet time at home and clean! My friends jokingly call me Lysol girl, but seriously there is something about vacuuming, dusting, organizing, washing dishes and doing laundry that I love. I also watched the movie Big with Tom Hanks, which I haven't watched in over 15 years. I loved that movie when I was a kid. I always wanted to be older so that I could do this or that.
I loved Saturday because I got to relax and even take a two hour nap, but I hated Saturday because my in laws dog got attacked by a untrained white boxer. I love to walk so I decided to take Stewie and Colby on a long walk. We were on the sidewalk when a huge white boxer bolts out of a house and attacks Colby. He grabs him by the neck, then proceeds to shake him like a rag doll (no hyperbole here). I lost my mind... Colby is fine the boxer thankfully did not break the skin. So after that exchange with my neighbor I walked an extra hour with the dogs just to calm down.
I loved Sunday! Loved seeing new babies in the infant room at church and hearing an amazing sermon on Great Sex!
