Overdue

Oh my June is flying by! It's been crazy around our household with summer growth groups, spending time with family in Lawrence and hanging out with supportive friends. Work has been slow, but has allowed me to pick up some extra projects that will make our lives easier come August when all the students return to campus.

For father's day I took Craig out to see Green Lantern in 3-D and he loved it. Me too surprisingly!
He also got a shirt with Sophia's hand prints on it.

Craig's still on the job hunt. He thought he had an opportunity, but it didn't pan out. I am convinced that the right job will come. Please keep him in your prayers.

Summer weight loss and walking has plateaued at the moment for a few reasons which I hope to discuss in later blog posts.

Sophia is growing wonderfully! She is learning new words and phrases daily. She can count to 14, say her Abc's A to "I", knows basic colors, and learns people's names fairly quickly! I am constantly amazed by how intelligent she is! She loves to laugh when other people are laughing...she takes my breath away!

Looking forward to an extra long 4th of July holiday weekend starting Friday at noon. We don't have anything planned..except for naps! We'll see how that goes.
