Sophia- She is learning more and more words. She can almost do very short sentences. Her favorite song right now is "Happy Birthday" due to the fact that there were several birthday parties in September and early October. Potty training...is going okay she's in pull ups during the day and diaper at night. My hope is that she is almost fully potty trained by the time that Baby #2 gets in February. Sophia is such a good little helper around the house. Last night we did some laundry together and picked up her toys. We are working on the concept of sharing, which she understands, but doesn't always follow through. We'll say Sophie share and she responds with whatever persons' name she is supposed to share with so it sounds like "Sophie share", " Abby share". We've used time out and it has been effective.
I am looking forward to Sophia moving into using more words, singing more songs from memory and getting even more independent. It's amazing how fast they grow and learn. She's going to be an awesome big sister.
Craig-
He's been working full time and then some at Carmax as a detailer. He's been there for about 2 1/2 months and likes it most of the time. He involved in three growth groups (Beer Tour, His Needs, Her Needs and Toddler Play Group at Eastlake Lawrence Community Church this fall session, two of which I am in as well. He's found some good connections at Eastlake, which I am so thankful for. Craig and I recently went on a belated honeymoon/baby-moon over fall break to the Baltimore/D.C. area. I just want to say that Craig did an amazing job of getting us to where we needed to go. He has a great sense of direction and was very knowledgeable about the history in D.C. and American history. I couldn't of asked for a better tour guide.
Me-
21 weeks preggo and I have my appetite back so watch out! LOL! I've had a good pregnancy so far. I am tired and achy, but that's to be expected. Later this month we will find out if we are having a girl or boy. I honestly do not care which one we have. All I want is a healthy baby! My job is going well and I like it more than ever. I am so thankful to be able to be myself and have bosses that understand where I am coming from. There is also still a possibility for a promotion that I have been waiting for...it recently got put back on the table! Go God! For the next few months until the baby is born I am going to slowing down a little bit with obligations and such. I am beginning to prioritize and use my time wisely...it's amazing what you can accomplish when you are focused.
