It's not that I am too busy or don't have enough to put up, it's not that important to me anymore. I used to decorate the house with a tree, lights, wall decorations, figurines, Holiday blankets, carpets, bath room sets etc... It nice and all, but I don't want to get caught up in the Christmas hype and miss the real reason for the season which is celebrating the birth of Jesus and spending quality time with family.
I want to show my daughter and future son that this time of year isn't all about gifts and food. It's a time to rejoice in the birth and the awesomeness of Jesus and be thankful for the things in life that are free.
