Half-way point...

July’s Goals

From about two weeks ago..let’s see how I am doing!

Faith

1. Pray every day & Keep up with my bible reading on YouVersion (The Essential 100 & The Confident Woman Devotional) Yes! I am right on track.

2. Go to church for the rest of the month. I love my church family and see some of them during the week, which is nice, but not the same. I had some time off due to a wedding, family weekend and daughter had a fever . So far so good! We had such a good talk yesterday completely caught me off guard and reminded me why I love my church family.

Wife/Marriage Goals

3. Read Screw tape Letters. Hubby loved this book and I am thinking about doing a book growth group if I love it. Not started yet.

4. Write a week love/encouragement letter to Craig. Whoa dang! Gotta get on this one.

5. Go on at least two dates a month with Craig. One in town and one out of town (KC, Topeka, etc) One date down and it looks as if we won’t be able to go out of town so we will probably have another date night in town.

Health

6. Walk for 30 minutes 4 times per week. I have walked twice a week for about 30 minutes. Plus Walk& Talk Growth Group and 10-15 minutes on my lunch break!

7. Lose 8 more pounds. I am down two more pounds! So a total of two for the month of July so far. I will take that!

8. Plan meals at least a week in advance. Yes! I know what we are having until this coming Thursday evening, then we will plan again from Thursday to the next Thursday. Tonight crock pot chicken tacos!

9. Continue to incorporate new organic/ healthy food into our life focus on breakfast foods. Yes, I have tried organic cucumbers and bell peppers!

Home Management Goals

10. Rearrange and clean our bedroom/closet. I hope to very soon!

11. Fix our vacuum. Not fixed L

12. Laundry twice a week Wed & Sun. YES! There is a lot more laundry than I am used to, but at least I don’t feel like I am constantly putting laundry away.

13. Go to sleep 30 minutes earlier than normal. Nope! I do some chores at night so yeah…

14. Clean or organize for at least 30 minutes each day. Yes, because if I didn’t do this I would waste a ton of time.

15. Check baby/toddler supplies weekly (diapers, wipes, etc.) Yep! We are good on that stuff until next week!

Mommy Goals

16. Plan Sophia’s b-day parties in September. One for family and the other for friends! DONE!

17. Read daily to Sophia and Langston. Just about...I average three nights a week

18. Take pictures of my family every day. YEP! For my birthday and Christmas I have been hinting that I want a new camera because seriously I take a picture every day of something I see.

19. Organize Sophia and Langston’s room. Almost done! I am waiting to hear from two dear friends to see if they are having boys or girls. Then I can give them all of Langston and Sophia’s clothing! They should know by this week! Win Win!

20. Take one night a week to not do anything, but hang out with my kids. Yep that was last Friday night and looking like it will be this Friday night too!
