What the hell have I been doing with my body besides making and nursing two babies?! Lol. 255 is what I weighed in this morning. I know that I am more than a number, but my weight is telling of deeper issues that I will be working through during this ten week period. Good thing today is the kick off to a ten week weight loss challenge at work. You pay 25 dollars and the top three people who lose the most body percentage wins money.
It’s time to start taking care of me. I have been putting it off for too long and I don’t think that I can take another day looking at my body and wishing that it looked like it did eight years ago. I am cutting things like unnecessary sweets, coffee, soda and cutting portion sizes. I am adding more fresh fruits, vegetables and water! Another thing I will do is rereading Made to Crave by Lysa TerKeurst again for guidance. I read it two years ago and it helped me put food in perspective and reminded me that God is bigger than my food habits. If you haven’t read it you need to!
