Ready Set Go!

2014 is seriously blowing up (in a good way). In a few weeks I am traveling for work to Denver, CO for an outreach event. Never thought I would say this, but I freaking love my job. Light travel, helping others and public speaking...YES Please.

I am co-leading a flash mob growth group with my buddy called EastLake Flashers. I don't want to say to much about it as it is supposed to be a surprise, but know that it will be EPIC. I am very close to securing a rehearsal spot and finding someone that can help with choreography.

We are starting some home improvements before we put our house on the market. RAISE THE ROOF because roof repair is first on the list. LOL...it also happens to be the most expensive one.

Craig and I found out that his best friend is getting married in the DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. Whaaa? After thinking long and hard about it. We are planning to go. I have never been outside the U.S. I am terrified and excited at the same time. Our first step is getting passports.

Sophia Update: Sophia is a dancing fool! She started a new ballet class that will last until May. She loves and talks about it every chance that she gets. She is flourishing in preschool. I feel bad that I will miss out on her pajama/pancake day at preschool. Sophia is learning how to share and treat other people. She's the kid that flips out if you look at her wrong and the first kid to say sorry. Her emotions are so up and down. She says whatever comes to her mind. She has no filter. She is teaching me to be flexible and act with grace. Although sometimes I may have the occasional meltdown when trying to correct her behavior.

Langston Update: He can count to ten. Throw some terrible tantrums. Eat like a grown man. He still sucks his thumb. His always has a smile ready when we wake him up in the morning. He is thriving at his in home daycare with five other children. He had his first real sleep over with my in laws. He gets cuter by the day.

Craig Update: Appraising cars, helping with auctions, buying cars...my hubby is busy and he loves what he does. In May he will go for his test and will be a full on buyer after that. I am so proud of him and happy that he is doing something that he loves.
