| Oh, I love this little girl, but sometimes it is very hard to stay positive when she is calling me a "dummy" at the top of her lungs and having an all out, full body tantrum because she wants to do something and I say no. She started doing this about three weeks ago at at first i nearly cried. I know she is testing boundaries, but it still stings a little. Craig has been really good about handling her when she gets like this. He has this way of staying calm and firm that I just don't have at the moment. As much as we want to say yes to everything that Sophia wants. I know that the responsible thing to do is say no when needed. She needs to know that the world doesn't work like that and she needs to learn self control. I want to her to grow up to be a well rounded young woman that isn't controlled by her emotions. |
