Oh, Stewie my forever puppy is a great companion during my 5k training. I might be projecting these feelings, but I see his face when we run together and he looks so happy. He keeps me motivated to run. He gives me the side eye when I stop running.
I am running...what? I have no more excuses not to get healthy. Langston is nearly two and it is a bit late to say I still have baby weight.
The hardest thing about running is I worry about how I look when I am running. I usually go right before dark so that no one will see me. I have learned that when you are as big as I am you have to make sure that when you move body parts stay where they should. I know I shouldn't care. I plan to run a 5k soon and people will see me. Lol!
After I run I feel awesome. I am more focused, relaxed, and calm (which makes for a happy hubby ;)) right now I am up to running three days a week. I hope to bump it up to four or five by mid September.
I cancelled our Hulu account because since I started running I don't spend as much time in front of the television streaming shows. I am seeing other positive changes in my life that I will get into in another blog post.
I am overjoyed that things are finally coming together and I am feeling like myself again.
Stewie after our run yesterday. I think he was a bit tired.
