Holiday Experience

I've had friends and co workers ask me what I am getting my kids for Christmas this year. I reply with "The Holiday Experience". They look at me like OK. What is that?! You know Christmas presents only last for so long. If you are lucky you can pass them down to the next kid or re-gift. I have family that give our children toys and gifts all the time. We are totally lucky that way. At the same time the holidays are perfect times to create memories. I remember going to Christmas plays, concerts, parades, lights, sitting on Santa's lap, amazing food, family stories, ballets.. etc. Also, during the holidays we volunteered and donated to charity.
I have already carved out sometime earlier this month to spend quality time doing holiday themed activities with Sophia. She thought the hand bell concert, KU Holiday Vespers, and party with Santa at the Oread were fantastic. I am looking forward to spending time with my son Langston during the holiday break too so that we can make some memories together.
