1. Sell our duplex: we have outgrown our space! Two kids, two adults and two pets in a two bedroom with ONE bathroom. We lived here for six years and we are both ready for a new place to call home.
2. Buy or rent a house. We are keeping things flexible. If we can't find the right house we will rent until we do.
3. Figure out our daughters next steps. She is having a blast at her Arts based preschool, but we are looking for a more structured preschool that would be similar to what she would experience in kindergarten. I have one or two places that I will be checking out next month.
4. More connection with each other. Mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally. Life happens. Sometimes your relationship with you spouse gets lost with work and kids. We talked about taking time together each night to talk, pray, snuggle..whatever. We will also plan date nights at least once a month where the kids spend the night with a family member. We both want to do some of the activities we did when we were dating.
Those are the main four and another resolution that we both thought we needs to do is to make a few healthier changes for our whole family. I have started buying less processed food and more fresh fruits and veggies. I plan to keep it up.
We are still trying to get debt free. I will admit that we didn't save as much as we wanted to this month partly due to the holidays, but at least we don't have any holiday debt.
I feel like this really could be a big year for the Andersons!
